Just needed a place to keep my GPS and a few accessories so it wasn't exposed to the elements. This was a great place to start! Not exactly a rock-solid exterior, which is the reason for the 4-stars. Otherwise a very reliable case.

The GPS and the charger fits perfect. I like the fact that it is a hard case and the GPS is fully protected. It is small enough to fit in my bag.

Used this with a Garmin 265. Case is great but you really have to stuff any cords in that side pocket to make it a carry-all for everything. So do I turn the screen towards the cords which are crammed in there or towards the outside where it might get hit??? Nice carry case for just the Garmin if you want to take it in-out of the car.

Because this carrying case is black, I decided to return it and exchange it for another color at the same price. Returning it was easy; just print out the label from Amazon.com, place it in a bubble packet, and include a copy of the printed return in the package. Then, you can drop it right into a UPS shipping location and you're done. I like the feel and shape of the case, as well as all that the case offers. It has two elastic bands to hold the GPS in place, plus a very roomy area in the lid that stores individual memory cards, and a mesh pocket for anything else that you may need space for (ie. perhaps you can use it as a purse and place your credit cards, license, etc inside?). I traded the black one in for a pink one which is constructed the same way, and am very happy with it. Aside from the funky odor from being packaged (I had to spray it outside and inside with Fabreeze--several times), it really is convenient and meets the need very well.

This case is exactly what we wanted. The 4.3" 255w garmin fits in great along with the charger. Make sure you store you garmin face down in the case so that it is protected, especially if you store the charger in the case as well. With the charger in the case, it is a tight fit, but that is good so that nothing moves around gets scratched or broken. It is not so tight you have to force it shut. I would highly recommend this. Plus the black case has a dull shine so its easy to hide in your car, to keep unwelcomed eyes away.
